Casas das Camélias consist of two semi-detached single-family residences in an already consolidated urban grid area.
Each house has two floors to take advantage of the sloping terrain, with the ground floor establishing a direct connection to the street and the garden that surrounds the entire residence.
Thus, were developed two houses where formal choices are pivotal in creating various relationships and integrating these volumes into the context in which they are situated. On the upper floor, the social areas are open to a balcony characterized by a large concrete canopy, providing privacy to the space and delineating the continuity of the surrounding line.
Concrete, wood, metal, stone, glass, and green spaces are combined to impart materiality and personality to these two residences.
