Trama arquitetos was approached to develop a project that reflected the team's DNA. The main goal for this project was the construction of harmonious and detailed spaces, blending the outdoor environment with the interior, adding sensations to functionality.
The name of this project reflects the vegetation surrounding the residence, composed of a centuries-old cork oak grove located on the lower slope of the steep terrain.
The house was designed to make the most of the sun exposure and the privileged views of the mountains and valleys of the region, giving the sensation of a garden floating on the horizon.
The residence extends on a single floor, with spatial organization achieved through an axis that separates the private area from the social area. This axis is outlined by a water mirror that runs through the entire house until it visually merges with the pool.
The composition of materials had the intent to associate raw and natural materials in a way that would blend with the environment – concrete, stone, wood, and steel. On the exterior, concrete blends with natural shale and weathered corten steel. Inside, walnut provides comfort, establishing a chromatic relationship with Roman travertine flooring and concrete on the ceiling.
The result is a timeless project in harmony with its surroundings.
